Catalogue is a small booklet which contains the details, botanical names as well as full name of author and also name of the publications.

Catalogue is used to identify all species in an area such as :-

  • Flora - It is the plant species present over an area. Has index, habitat and distribution of plants in an particular area.
  • Manual - It helps in identification of the species in an area.
  • Monography - It consists of all the information and details of any one taxon.
