The term Commission has different meanings based on the context it is used in. For example we can say in regard to a salesperson, commission is the amount of money that is paid to the salesperson for every sale that he or she makes. In general it is the amount paid to someone for any special piece of work that is done formally.

Buy now the term Commission Agent must be crystal clear to you, it denotes someone who is responsible for selling an organization's products and in return receives a sum of money for doing that job.

Commission : In the present context commission is the revenue / perk for doing some work.It is not related to daily wages of a worker.
Commission word is used for that amount to be pay by someone( vendor to buyer) as a fee for doing any business,deal etc

Commission agent: The person who works for commission is known as commission agent.I t is also known as middle man,commercial man and dealer.
