The basic structure of the Constitution can't be changed. However ammendments are always welcome as per article 368 which states that "... Parliament may in exercise of its constituent power amend by way of addition, variation, or repeal any provision of this constitution in accordance with the procedure laid down in this article. The " basic structure" doctrine is an Indian judicial principle that the Constitution of India has certain basic features that cannot be altered or destroyed through
amendments by the parliament. Key among these "basic features", are the fundamental rights granted to individuals by the Constitution.

The basic democracy and the allover law system of our country is established by our honorable constitution.
To change anything in the constitution ,there are some conditions which should be approved by our governing system.
The conditions are:
1) The change should be approved by both upper and lower tier of the parliament.
2) The change should not harm the basic ideology of our constitution. (ie. Democracy, Equality etc.)
3) The change should be beneficial for the nation.
And many more.
