☆ Covalent Bond us formed by mutual sharing of unpaired electrons between two atoms.

➝ The covalent bond formed between two atoms by sharing one pair of electrons is a Single Bond

Ex: H2,HCL etc..

➝ If the central atom of molecule don't have octet, it is called Electron Deficient Molecule.

➝ In several compounds like PCl5,H2SO4 etc. the central atom has more than octet. They are called expanded Octet Molecules.
