what is a disease? how is it different from being unhealthy?​

Disease, any harmful deviation from the normal structural or functional state of an organism, generally associated with certain signs and symptoms and differing in nature from physical injury. A diseased organism commonly exhibits signs or symptoms indicative of its abnormal state.

an illness of the body in humans, animals or plants.It takes a lot to be healthy! A lot!.Its very easy to get used to unhealthy habits and many of which are adapted even without ones consciousness.

It has been more than six months since i have started to bring some changes.

I was a heavy smoker,one pack or even more every single day.Not even think an extra second before i would grab a sprite,have tasty fruit juices with loads of sugar in it,Mc Donalds, Pizzahut, chineese, manchurian were on top of favorites list.I even used to wonder how one can enjoy alu ka paratha without at least two cubes of butter.After all these, never said no to any friend who invited for beer or whiskey couple of times a week.

By gods grace,i am born a vegetarian and am a strict vegetarian.

When i was enjoying all these extra calories and bad habits to fullest,i got to travel Africa on a business trip.This happened to be a life saver and helped me kick start the change.I was alone ,all alone for a couple of months.All day,all night .I loved cooking so cooked for myself,Loneliness sometimes helps .

Its just when i started smoking more,One day i realized this when i woke up in the middle of night,it was 02:00 AM and i grabbed a cigarette and started smoking.Then i started thinking myself,What was i doing?I was just 25.I had a loving family,A girlfriend who thought i was clean and never smoke.That day i called my girlfriend without a second thought.That was the last day i smoked.I knew she will make it happen.

Its an achievement to quit smoking after years.I developed this habit of being cautious before i drink or eat anything.Now i never take cold drinks,juices(unless i prepare myself without sugar),fried food.

I eat Dark chocolates,a small piece everyday.

I feel energetic,happy,fresh,healthy,fresh breath.Above all proud of myself.
