What is a drought and famine

Drought= it is the situation when there is a deficiency  or scarcity of water in specific region , it is the situation when people suffers from the deficiency  of
 water.
Famine = it is also know as drought , these both terms are having similar meaning.

the land gets drought because when the land does not get rain for several years. some little cracks occurs in the land due to dryness and hence the land does not get its water the land cannot be used to do cultivation of crops and etc. And because of the the amount of food grains decreases and the people are not able to get their food at a cheap rate and hence it causes famine. sometimes the famines will also leads to deadth.
