Leaf ,the most imp. Part of plant also known as kitchen house coz it contains stomata on upper and lower epidermis for gaseous exchange
It is covered with cutin layer and contain xylem and phloem in mid rib and veins . It's base is called lamina.

Stomata helps for gaseous exchange of CO2 and O2 and H2O out of which co2 and h2 from h2o is combined to form glucose in thylakoids in chloroplast.
Leaf consist of chlorophyll pigment which makes it green also plant and leaf reflects green light so is seen green .

Also leaf has mesophyll layer b/w upper and lower epidermis.
