Nervous system consists of nerve cells and tissues that helps in the control and coordination of our body.

It carries nerve impulses from one part to a another part of the body. It only carries information to places which are connected to nerve cells but is a extreme fast process.

The nervous tissues meet in the spinal cord as a bundle and proceeds to other body parts.

First the informations are acquired by the receptors and passed on to the tip of the dendrites where a chemical reaction sets off that creates a electrical impulse . The impulse travels through the cell body to the axon terminal where some chemicals called neurotransmitters are released that crosses the synapse and sets off a similar type of chemical reactions at the dendritic tip until they reach the muscles or glands to response against the stimuli.

Reflex actions are too carried out by the nerves system from receptors to sensory neuron to spinal cord to motor neuron through relay neuron to the effectors.

Nerves play a really important role in our coordination otherwise we had been hurt ourselves thousands of times by placing our hand in the fire or any Reflex action dangerous to us.

Nervous system really plays a important role in saving us from dangers.

Hope this helps!!!!
