The Parliament of India is the supreme legislative body of the Republic of India. The Parliament is composed of the President of India and the houses. It is a bicameral legislature with two houses: the Rajya Sabha and the Lok Sabha.

We need a parliament for making new laws in the country and changing and abolishing existing laws.

We need a Parliament controls the executive organ of the government.

The parliament consists of two houses called the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha with the president acting as their head.
