Pinhole camera is a device from which we can see the images inverted or we can say upside down. Objects are seem to be smaller than its original size. The image can be called as 'real' because it can obtain on screen.

pinhole camera consists of a light proof box, a translucent paper and a pin hole. The pinhole in the camera works as lens.

➜ The light from the candle tracked straight in all directions form each points of the flame of the candle

➜ But only the light coming in some particular direction can enter into the camera through its pin hole

➜ Light which comes from the points at the bottom of the flame goes straight through its pin hole

➜ In this way the lights coming in a particular direction form each points of the flame, will be able to enter into the pinhole and lights going in other direction is blocked by the black sheet

➜ This leads to the formation of inverted image on the screen
