Processor is defined as a small chip which is usually found residing inside the computer and the main function of that process is to receive input and give back an appropriate output.

The different types of processors are

•        Macro processor  

Micro Processor:

Microprocessor are small electronic devices found residing inside the computer which acts as the processing unit. It consist of transistor, Resistor and diodes etc. Example of a microprocessor is Intel.

Macro processor:

Macro processor are embedded into other programs that copies a stream of text from one set to the other.
