And for this reason electric current should be considered a vector as it has both magnitude and direction. But in addition, vectors obey the law of parrellogram of vectors, which the electric currentdoes not obey. For this reason, current is a scalar quantity and not a vector.

Current is considered as scalar quantity but actually it is a vector quantity. Current has both magnitude and direction. It's direction is opposite to the flow of current. It has also magnitude. Current has no direction we consider because it cannot be seen but only be understood that it has direction opposite to the flow of electrons .
