Why has it become necessary in modern times?

vickymishraOM: why we need Representative Democracy as India is a country which has 1.25 billion population it would be chaos and mess we start using direct democracy wherein we are conducting election to pass each bill/reform or any new policy which needs to be effected.

That’s the reason we have representative democracy where we chose our representatives whom we enlist the responsibility to take those decision on our behalf.
