the state which doesn't declares any religion as its official or state religion.
India is a secular state as we find all the community people living in India in harmony and peace. it's one of the basic right angles guiding value of our constitution embedded (written) in the preamble of our constitution.
and according to the fundamental rights that us right to equality as it started that in our country all religious groups. must be treated equally. it doesn't provides more value for votes of any religious community. it also provides safeguards to the minorities
