Solar System

The solar system is the system in which stars, sun, planets, satellites, asteroids, comets, etc are present and bound to each other by gravity.

In our solar system, all the planets orbit around the sun.

There are 8 planets in our solar system.

The planets are :-

  • Mercury
  • Venus
  • Earth
  • Mars
  • Jupiter
  • Saturn
  • Uranus
  • Neptune

All these planets keep on revolving around the sun.

All the planets have their respective time period in which the complete one revolution.

The earth takes nearly 365 days to complete one revolution.

Till now, earth is the only planet where life is possible.

There are satellites which revolve around a planet.

Those satellites are called Moon.

All of these spacial bodies are stable due to gravitational force, magnetic field and electric field.
