here is your answer !!
total higest resistance =>
it will come in series
then , equivalent resistance =>
4 Ω + 8Ω + 12 Ω +24 Ω => 48 Ω
now ,
lower resistance is => connecting them in parallel
=> 1 / 4 Ω + 1 / 8 Ω + 1 / 12 Ω + 1 / 24 Ω
=> 1 / Rp = 2 Ω
hence ,
the height resistance is 48 Ω
and Lowest resistance = 2 Ω .
