Hey Mate here is your Answer,

All the physical quantities are divided in to two categories :

A. Scalar quantity : It only depends on magnitude not in direction.

B. Vector Quantity : It depends on both in magnitude and direction.

Now What is Magnitude????
Magnitude is the amount or value of any quantity.

In scalar quantity there is no requirement of direction but vector quantity depends on direction. It means if direction changes than vector quantity also changes.
