The Visceral is the muscle found under the following organs; stomaches, intestines, and blood vessels. Actually out of the three different types, the Visceral muscle is the softest and weakest one. The reason for this muscle you may ask? Well, the Visceral muscle helps/makes organs contract, causing the stuff inside, to move around like it's supposed to. The muscle is actually mainly groups of special cells, that create movement by contracting and relaxing. Visceral moves without thought, which is a involuntary muscle and cannot be controlled by yourself. The visceral is very smooth and slick, when viewed under the microscope, and it received the name, "smooth muscle" for that reason. Actually this is the only types that is smooth, unlike the Cardiac and Skeletal. This specific muscle lines your blood vessels, the digestive tract and other internal organs.  In all cases, it contracts. It kind of reminds me like a telephone cable, it has a shell and then a bunch of little wires inside.
