In a Cartesian plane, we plot a point with two axis in terms of (x, y)

i.e.,(2,1),(3,4),etc

First point is called abscissa which is a x-coordinate.

Second point is called ordinate which is a y-coordinate.

i.e., In (2,1)
abscissa is 2
Ordinate is 1
