Acid rain is described as the rain which brings all the pollution causing particles present in the air down on earth surface. It is highly advised not to let such water fall upon you since it is the most chemically polluted water.Acid rain is usually the first rain of the rainy season.
Acid rain is, on the other hand, beneficial to the atmosphere. The harmful chemicals are washed down so the atmosphere becomes pure.

acid rain is a result of air pollution. when any type of fuel is burnt, lots of different chemics are produced. The smoke that comes out from a fire or the fumes that come out of a car exhaust don't just contain the sooty grey particles that u can see - they also lots of invisible gases that can be even harmful to our environment
some of these gases are especially (nitrogen oxides and sulfur oxides) react with the tiny droplets of water in clouds to form sulfur and nitric acids the rain from these clouds then fall as a very weak acid - which is why it is known as acid rain
CAUSES and EFFECTS :
1.IT dissolve and wash away the nutrients and minerals in the soil which helps trees to grow.
2.it cause the release of harmful substances such as aluminium in the soil.
3. wear away the waxy protective coating of leaves, damaging them and preventing them from being able to photosynthesis properly.
