why do plants have a cell wall?

Plants need cell walls to keep standing and to keep from not being straight . If they did not have cells walls they would be on the ground . Because plants do not have bones like humans do, so thats why they have cell walls and we dont.

Biologically the plant cell wall is the characteristic feature for the plant cell.Plant cell wall is made up of bi-lipid protein coated chain which prevents the micro organisms to enter the cell. Its not that it gives support. Support can be given by morphological features of plant also.
