What is active and passive with the help of example

Active Voice refers to a sentence in which the subject is performing the action/rather the subject comes first in a sentence.

Example: Rhea is writing a book.

Passive Voice on the other hand, is a sentence in which the subject undergoes the action. In other words, it is writing the sentence in reverse order/rather the action comes first.

Example: A book is being written by Rhea.

Another example: He is singing a song. (Active)

                              A song is being sung by him. (Passive)
