The movement of water molecules in cell as per it's amount of concentrations of solute and solvent are that.

Active and passive transport.

Explanation:

  • Active transport - It is a biological process in which molecules move against the concentration gradient  and require energy to move compounds from lower region to higher region. example uptake of glucose in human intestine is an active transport.
  • Passive transport -Energy is not required in passive transport, molecules move from the region of higher concentration to the region of lower concentration. Examples include simple diffusion, facilated diffusion , osmosis, etc.
  • Active transport require energy while passive transport do not require energy.
  • In active transport molecules move against the concentration gradient , while in passive transport molecules move along the concentration gradient.
