space and time is connected by each other under a single idea called SPACE TIME CONTINUUM....in free space , space and time lies as a mutually connected properties...if planets or other celestial bodies get in this arrangement of space time continuum the arrangement of space time continuum at that area changes and consiquently bring changes into the time and space of that planet situated at that place ........SPACE TIME SINGULARITY cant be described in some words....different physics branch give it different descriptions..yet the best one is provided by einstein's theory of general relativity
