Ans-1. In this reaction, the reagents add completely to the substrate, e.g. hydrogenation to vegetable oil to obtain ghee.

Ans-3. Flame is the region where consumption of gases occur. It is of two type : blue flame (or non-luminous flame) and yellow flame (or luminous flame).
