what is aerobic respiration?
Answers
its a type of respiration in which oxygen is taken in and carbon dioxide and water are produced; also, the use of oxygen in the breakdown of foodstuffs to create energy is called aerobic respiration.

For aerobic respiration to takes place within the mitochondria the final product of glucose pyruvate is transported from the cytoplasm into the mitochondria the crucial events in aerobic respiration are:-
- the complete oxidation of pyruvate by the stepwise removal of all the hydrogen atoms living 3 molecules of.
- the passing on of the electrons removed as the part of the hydrogen atoms to molecular or two with simultaneous synthesis of ATP.
Reaction during aerobic respiration:-
C6H12O6 + 6O2 = 6CO2 + 6H2O + energy (as ATP).
