Aerobic respiration is the respiration which takes place in the presence of oxygen. It is the process in which starch/glucose and other nutrients are converted into ATP molecules.

It is the process by which glucose is converted into CO2 and H2O in the presence of oxygen by releasing large amount of energy in the form of ATP ( Adenosine triphosphate ).
