the typical textbook definition tells us that universe is everything. but the same books also tell us that the universe is expanding. if universe is everything, then what is it expanding into? This riddle has been bugging me for quite some time. of you happen to know the answer to it, please let me know it too....

Astronomers think space outside of the observable universe might be an infinite expanse of what we see in the cosmos around us, distributed pretty much the same as it is in the observable universe.....
