Climate, land relief, soil and vegetation are the main factors which influence agricultural activity. The growth of plants depends on the temperature and humidity of the land and the amount of light it receives.

Now , agriculture is a very important and should be on large area because of the increasing population of people and to fulfil their need , the agriculture should be on large area.

Crops:-

When the plants of same kind grown at a place on a large scale is basically termed as crop.

for example- rice , wheat , maize , cotton , jute , rubber , sugarcane , groundnut.

Agricultural Practises:-

The practices which are done by the farmer in a particular period of time.

There are 7 agricultural practices:-

● Preparation of soil

● sowing of seeds.

● adding manures and fertilizers

● irrigation

● crop protection ( weeding )

● Harvesting

● storage.
