When there is growth of algae in the pond in large amount is called algal bloom.
Since there is growth of algae in the water bodies it do not allow oxygen and sunlight to pass through it which causes loss of life to thenorganism who live there , this will lead to eutraphication.
Eutraphication affect aquatic life because it causes loss of life to the organism who live there.
