An identity is an equality that holds true regardless of the values chosen for its variables.

Algebraic Identities

(a + b)(a - b) = a2 - b2

(a + b)2 = a2 + b2 + 2ac

(a - b)2 = a2 + b2 - 2ac

(a + b)3 = a3 + b3 + 3a2b + 3ab2

(a - b)3 = a3 - b3 - 3a2b + 3ab2

Algebraic Identity :

The algebraic equations which are true for all values of variables in them are called algebraic identities.

Example : (a + b)2 = a2 + 2ab + b2
