It is the biginning step of translation in which the amino acids are said to be activted.The inactivated aminoacid present in the cytoplasm gets activated in the presence of amino acyl tRNA synthetase,ATP and magnisium ions.This process is also called charging of tRNA.

first of all... let's know what is AMINOACYtyl....
it's a radical formed when carboxyl group of an amino acid loses a hydroxylgroup.

therefore we can define...AMINOACYLATION...
