Answer

Amphoteric  oxides are those which react with both acids and bases

eg:- PbO, ZnO, Al2O3, Sn2O3

Explanation:

If an oxide reacts with an acid it is basic

eg:- HCl + MgO -> MgCl2 + H2O

If an oxide reacts with a base it is acidic

eg:- CO2 + Ca(OH)2 -> CaCO3 + H2O

Amphoteric  oxides are those which react with both acids and bases

eg:- PbO + HCl -> PbCl2 + H2O

     PbO + NaOH -> Na2PbO2 + H2O
