And then:

Anion is a negatively charged particle that is formed when the electronegative elements or ions gains more ions or charged then it refers to their negative charged and called anion ....

This ion attract the anode rode in the electrolysis...

Example __ Chlorine gains one electron from chloride ion ( CL-) as it's Nacl..
