An echo is a sound which is caused by a noise being reflected off a surface such as a wall. In easy words it's the repitation of sounds produced by us.
The factors required to get distinct echo are as follows:-
- The intensity of sound should be such that the reflected sound reaching the ear is sufficiently intense to be audible.
- The minimum distance between the source of sound and the reflector in air must be 17m.
