electrical fuse is used to prevent short circuit
fuse has low melting point so when high current passes through it melts and stop the flow of current

fuse____;__fuse is a safety device which is connected in live wire .
Basically it contains a wire is called fuse wire having comparatively lower melting point then the other device .

when amount if current start following in a circuit access heat is also develop since the fuse wire have lower melting it melts and the circuit is broken.
in this way access current donot entrees into the appliances and it is save .
