An equation that is true for some value(s) of the variable(s) and not true for others. Example: Theequation 2x – 5 = 9 is conditionalbecause it is only true for x = 7. Other values of x do not satisfy theequation.

Rongneme: 2x-5=9 ◆2x=9+5◆x=7. now we know value of x=7 & 7 is the solution. now, conditional equation meant values of variable "x" cant be any values(numerals) rather than "7" it self?
Rongneme: bro. please explain it in details with some basic example, please

An equation is a mathematical expression that contains an equals symbol. Equations often contain algebra. Algebra is used in maths when you do not know the exact number in a calculation.

4 + 6 = 10 is an example of an equation.

There are three major forms of linear equations: point-slope form, standard form, and slope-intercept form.
