The economy of the prairies of canada depends on the money they get from agriculture, mining, gas, and oil. Grain, oil seed, pulses, and canola are some of the things grown in the pairies. Also beef and dairy cattle, pigs, chickens and turkeys are domesticated animals breeded and grown for food (except the dairy cow which is grown and breed for it's milk ). Alberta makes up for 46% of all of Canada's total mineral activity.

Answer:

The people in Prairies have two major occupations. They are dairy farming and agriculture. Wheat production is also done here at an extensive form with modern equipment and technology. The main occupations of the people in the Veld are grazing of cattle ad sheep, dairy farming ad gold mining.
