Inning is the number of times a player or a team came on to bat or to bowl. The cricket match is separated into two innings. . During an inning, one team  does bowling and fielding while the other team does batting. The number of innings depends on the cricket type. In one day international there are 2 innings. The team that scores highest runs will be declared as winner. In Test cricket there are 2 innings per team and it is played for 5 days. the winner is announced after calculating the sum of the net runs scored by the two teams in their two batting innings in all the five days.
