What is an organic evolution? It cannot be equated with progress.

The process of changes by which new species differ from their ancestors is called organic evolution.

Organic evolution is not always progressive because it only brings variations in the genetic makeup.

Also, new species have complex systems as compared to old species which had simple systems.

For instance, the oldest organism bacteria has the tendency to survive adverse circumstances while new species cannot.

Organic evolution is the process or event of a change in an organism by which descendants differ from their ancestors. Evolution cannot be equated to progress. From lower forms to higher forms it gives rise to more complex body designs even while the simpler body designs continue to flourish.
