♦ Anaphase -1st.

> Due to shortening of chromosomal fibre and expansion of interzonal fibre, Homologous chromosomes segregate from each and move towards the opposite poles. sister chromatids remain associated at their centromere.

> Anaphase -1st is characterised by segragation or disjunction of chromosomes. Division of centromere is absent. Anaphase 1st is responsible for reduction in chromosome number in daughter cells.

Hope it helps u✌

Heya...

Here is your answer...

Anaphase is a very important stage of cell division.

Anaphase 1 is that phase in which homologous chromosomes separate to each side of the cell.

The centromere is intact.

Anaphase I begins when the two chromosomes of each bivalent (tetrad) separate and start moving toward opposite poles of the cell.

It may help you...☺☺
