Angiosperm:- They are very large group of plants and occur in wide range of habitats.

Angiosperms are of two types-:

(i) Monocotyledon:- Those which have only one cotyledon are known as Monocotyledon plants.

Example:- Grass and cerals.

(ii) Dicotyledons:- Those which have two cotyledons are known as Dicotyledon angiosperms.

Example:- Pulses

Some points related with angiosperms are as follows:-

In them anther and filament forms stamen or the male sex organ.

After the process of meiosis pollen grains are formed in the anther.

And then pollen grains are carried to the stigma with help of wind or with any other natural process.

Ovary, stigma and style forms female sex organ in them.

One or more than one ovules are produced in the ovary.

Nucellus is the diploid tissue which forms body of the ovule.

Wolfia is the smallest angiosperm while Eucalyptus is the largest tree.
