A sequence of numbers in which each differs from the preceding one by a constant quantity.
for example:-1,2,3,4,5,6 etc

Arithmetic progression ( A.P.)------- An arithmetic progression is a sequence or series of the numbers in which each term can be obtained by adding a certain quantity to its preceding terms.
For example------- 1,2,3,4,5,6 or 2,4,6,8
