Answer: Ashoka's Dhamma is a policy laid down by the Great Ashoka, the Emperor of Mauryan dynasty and grandson of Chandragupta.

Explanation:

* Dhamma is a Prakrit word from the Sanskrit word Dharma which means justice, piety and good things in life (moral values to be taught)

* After Ashoka gave up war full of bloodshed and rivalry, he laid this policy to teach people about the disadvantages of enmity and living together in unity, harmony and peace

* Ashoka wrote inscriptions on Buddha's teaching about Dhamma and spread them throughout the globe by his messengers.

* He laid out the rules for Dhamma's practice like tolerating all the religions existing in India, not manslaughtering animals like cows for meat (beef).

* Dhamma is not a religious belief or practice. It is based on the moral values of life (equality, diversity, unity, peace and karma) to be taught to the next generations of the society all around the globe.
