ASL is the assisment of speaking and listening.
Listening:
you will be given a sheet in which questions will be printed and a recording will be played after listening to the recording you will have to answers the questions printed on the sheet.
Speaking:
you will be given topics for the speaking activity select the topic you wish to . then prepare a speech for approximately 1 minutes then your ASL partners will ask you a question and then the teacher .then the teacher will provide a situation then you will have to tell how to solve it.

ASL stands for Assessment of Speaking and Listening in English subject.

The test is of 40 marks .
20 marks in Listening skills
20 marks in Speaking skills.

The 40 marks is then reduced to 20 marks and is added in Summative Assessment examination.

In listening skills test, students will provided with questions and they have to listen to audio twice and answer.

In speaking skills test, there are 3 tasks.
In the first task, student is asked casual questions by the teacher.
In the second task, student delivers the speech and has to answer questions related to that topic.
In the third task, a situation is given to the student and they have to provide solution to it.
