Answer:

nitrogen cycleNitrogen fixation is the process by which atmospheric nitrogen is converted by either a natural or an industrial means to a form of nitrogen such as ammonia. In nature, most nitrogen is harvested from the atmosphere by microorganisms to form ammonia, nitrites, and nitrates that can be used by plants.

Answer:

Lightning (thunderbolts) occur in a rainy season. This causes atmospheric nitrogen and oxygen to react with each other to form nitric oxide (NO) which is again oxidized to form nitrogen dioxide (NO2).

The nitrogen dioxide dissolves in rainwater and is converted into nitric acid (HNO2) which gets added to the soil along with the rainwater. this acid reacts with different minerals in the soil and convert into salts. plants uses this nitrogen salts for the growth.
