Atomic size is basically the size of an atom .
It increases as we go from top to bottom in periodic table b/c of increasing shell. And As we go from left to right atomic size decreases b/c of increase in effective nuclear charge in nucleus, also not increase in shells from left to right and so it attracts electrons more tightly that's why atomic size decreases.
