Aurangzeb wanted Hindu religion to be destroy completly and he was totally against to the rajputs who tried to stop him

Aurangzeb considered the Rajpts as his greatest obstacles and wanted to destroy them to annex their kingdoms.

With his lack of faith and loyalty in the Rajpits and considering as his enemies, the Mughal empire lost their major support of Rajput that was loyal to them since the reigh of Akbar, thus, leading to the weakening and the eventual downfall of the mughal empire.

Thus, the rajput policy under Arungzeb was a complete failure.
