What is autism and how does it affect the individual?
Answers
"a mental condition, present from early childhood, characterized by difficulty in communicating and forming relationships with other people and in using language and abstract concepts."
That's how they define it, before deleting this for plagiarism, lemme tell something more :
Autism, in my terms is basically the inability to fit in the norms, and to fail to interact with others the way they expect you to.
I myself have several mental disorders, and an OCD which falls on the autistic spectrum, to be clear, it does affect your life in one way - you get to manage living by yourself, and mentally restoring yourself when you are low. That's a thing, it's really hard for an Asperges' to interact and let others know what it's like to be called "weird/professor of quirkiness/nerd". We do have senses, but they are directed to a specific direction, we are good at either logical thinking or at aesthetics, not both at the same time, our brain just can't take them both. We do feel less emo than any other human, but that's just our way, seldom do they get to know us. We don't generally find hygiene intriguing, except for germophobic OCDs, especially the teen days are the worst, but we get over them, we have evolved in our way!
Thanks for the time,
Been there.
