- Autotrophs - Autotrophs manufacture their own food from simple inorganic matter like CO2 and water in thr presence of sunlight and chorophyll. Eg- All the plants.
- Heterotrophes - organism dependent for their organic food requirement on the autotrophes.
Eg - All animal, human fungi etc

Those organisms which can produce their own food with the help of substances which are available in the surrounding using light are known as autotrops.
Eg : plants like rose, lily, mango, etc.
Those organisms which cannot produce their own food and they are dependent on any other plants and animals are known as heterotrops.
Eg : animals like humans being, dogs, cats etc
